Rui kaalia


I made some rui kaali last Sunday. This time I really held back on the turmeric and put more of garam masala to make the gravy browner and closer to the real thing. I can't handle chillies too much but love the way they look

I had hilsa (eelish) at Dhaka...allegedly the El Dorada of eelish...years back. Would you believe it, they made it with onions...how wierd can you get?
