Chef Manu Chandra has launched his Asian gastro pub, Fatty Bao, in Mumbai’s Bandra.
We had earlier eaten in the Bangalore outlet earlier and loved our meal. We were invited for a tasting of the menu in Mumbai on Monday night. A lot of the dishes were similar to the Bangalore menu so we tried out new dishes this time and the bacon and pork belly chashu ramen which we couldn't get enough of last time In Bangalore. Wish the egg was a bit more runny though,
Just loved the pork dishes there and double cooked pork belly and bacon fried rice could become my comfort food.
The seared scallops and the rather expensive miso black cod gave a lot of pleasure too.
